In 1999, Baroness Philippine de Rothschild, daughter of Baron Philippe, laid the foundation for Escudo Rojo, believing that Chile was a land of untapped potential. With its stunning landscapes, Mediterranean climate, and rich volcanic soils, Chile offered a new canvas for winemaking.

Escudo Rojo is not just a "Chilean wine" but a harmonious blend of Bordeaux artistry and the powerful nature of South America.
