AG47 Malbec is produced by Bodega Argento in Mendoza, Argentina. The AG47 name refers to silver—Ag is the chemical symbol for silver and 47 is its atomic number—connecting the wine to Argentina’s name and its historic association with the “land of silver.” The range is designed around a fresh, fruit-forward, and easy-drinking style.
Made from Malbec grown in Mendoza, the wine emphasizes the grape’s generous fruit and naturally soft texture rather than heavy oak or powerful extraction. Its accessible character makes it suitable for casual drinking, barbecues, pasta, and everyday meals.
The current varietal bottling should be distinguished from the earlier AG47 Malbec–Shiraz blend. The AG47 Malbec sold in Thailand is identified as a Mendoza Malbec, with tasting notes centred on red berries, blackberry, tobacco, and light herbal nuances.
