Avignonesi 50&50 is one of Tuscany’s most iconic modern blends, born from a historic collaboration between Avignonesi (Montepulciano) and Capannelle (Chianti Classico). The name “50&50” reflects the equal partnership—both in philosophy and in the blend itself.
This wine combines Sangiovese from Chianti Classico with Merlot from Montepulciano, creating a harmonious dialogue between tradition and international style. Sangiovese contributes freshness, acidity, and Tuscan character, while Merlot brings depth, richness, and a velvety texture.
Produced only in selected vintages, 50&50 is crafted with meticulous attention—from vineyard selection to aging in French oak—resulting in a wine that consistently ranks among the top Super Tuscans.
