เนื้อหาสินค้า

Bruno Giacosa, often revered as the Genius of Neive, was a legendary figure who defined the standard for traditional winemaking in Piedmont for nearly eight decades. Beginning his journey at the age of fifteen in his family's cellar, he developed an unrivaled palate and an encyclopedic knowledge of the Langhe's finest vineyards. Though famous for his monumental Barolo and Barbaresco, Giacosa applied the same meticulousness to Dolcetto d'Alba, treating it with the respect typically reserved for noble varieties. Today, his daughter Bruna continues this heritage, maintaining her father’s uncompromising pursuit of quality and his preference for letting the wines speak for themselves.

The winemaking philosophy at the estate is rooted in minimal intervention and a profound respect for terroir. Giacosa believed that great wines are born in the vineyard, emphasizing small yields and the selection of only the finest fruit from prestigious sites like the Falletto vineyard in Serralunga d'Alba. In the cellar, the approach remains steadfastly traditional, utilizing fermentation in stainless steel followed by aging in large wooden barrels to preserve the grape's typical characteristics. This method ensures that the Dolcetto d'Alba maintains its vibrant identity, offering a structured and elegant expression of the clay and limestone soils that define this historic Italian region.
