Cafaggio Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG represents the purest expression of Greve in Chianti, one of the most historic villages of Tuscany’s legendary Chianti Classico zone. The estate’s origins date back to the 15th century, when it was owned by Benedictine monks who cultivated vines and olives on these sun-kissed hills.
Today, Tenuta Cafaggio continues that ancient heritage with a commitment to sustainable viticulture and authentic Sangiovese craftsmanship. The “Riserva” designation reflects longer aging and greater depth, with the wine spending 18 months in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by additional bottle aging.
