Since its classification as a Deuxième Grand Cru Classé in 1855, Château Lascombes has stood on the gravel‑rich plateau of Margaux, its vines and cellars progressively refined across centuries. The estate’s soil‑driven identity and commitment to precision have prepared it for an era of renaissance under renewed investment and expert stewardship.
The 2019 vintage arrived on the heels of meticulous vineyard work: leaf‑thinning, manual harvest in crates, cold maceration and extended vatting to draw out structure and aromatic breadth. Maturation in barrels (about 60% new oak) over 18‑20 months added comprehensiveness without sacrificing vibrancy.
In this wine you sense both power and finesse: the hallmark gravel framing Cabernet‑dominated intensity, tempered by Merlot’s supple plushness and Petit Verdot’s spice lift. Château Lascombes 2019 bridges tradition and modern ambition, destined for a long life in cellar.

Offering up a rich bouquet of blackberries, cassis, burning embers and sweet spices, the 2019 Lascombes is full-bodied, lavish and textural, with a voluminous core of fruit, lively acids and plenty of ripe, powdery tannin that asserts itself on the youthfully firm finish.
