La Croix Bonis is the second wine of Château Phélan Ségur, one of the most respected estates in Saint-Estèphe.
While the Grand Vin is known for its power and aging ability, La Croix Bonis is crafted to be more approachable and expressive at a younger stage, offering a clear introduction to the estate’s style.
Saint-Estèphe, located in the northern Médoc, is known for producing wines with structure, freshness, and longevity, thanks to its clay-rich soils. This gives the wine a distinctive profile—firmer and more mineral-driven compared to other Left Bank regions.
