Château Rauzan-Gassies 2021

Château Rauzan-Gassies, a historic Second Growth in Margaux, traces its lineage to the once-unified Rauzan estate. Since 1946, it has been under the care of the Quié family, who also manage Château Croizet-Bages in Pauillac.

The estate’s gravel-rich soils and classic Left Bank grape mix yield a wine that mirrors its terroir’s delicacy. While overshadowed for decades by more prominent names, Rauzan-Gassies has quietly refined its style through modern viticulture and cellar upgrades.

The 2021 vintage—cool, challenging, and late—favored the elegant signature of Margaux. Rauzan-Gassies 2021 is a testament to subtlety: a wine of floral lift, finesse, and quiet charm, exemplifying how restraint can reveal terroir with honesty and grace.
