Corryton Burge Barossa Shiraz

Fruit driven but approachable style with generous Barossan fruit. Ruby red, with lifted aromas of chocolate-coated raspberry liquorice, nutmeg, cheesecake and underlying smoky, toasty oak. Displaying characteristics seen in many Shiraz dominant wines from the region from the exceptional. The palate is rich and bold with its fruit and chocolate flavours however the tannin levels are subdued, leaving the palate with a sense of roundness ready for consumption. The flavours of milk chocolate and sweet spice linger long on the palate.
