Croft, one of the oldest Port houses dating back to 1588, is renowned for producing expressive Ports with clarity and balance. The Reserve Tawny Port represents a more refined and matured style compared to Ruby Port.
Unlike Ruby Port, which emphasizes fresh fruit, Tawny Port undergoes extended aging in smaller oak casks. This gradual oxidative maturation transforms the wine—softening tannins, deepening color into amber tones, and developing complex layers of dried fruit, nuts, and spice.
