A Champagne Born from Family Legacy
The story of Ernest Rapeneau Vieille France Brut begins in 1927, when Ernest Rapeneau founded his Champagne house in the heart of Épernay, the historic capital of Champagne. Guided by family passion and a commitment to traditional craftsmanship, the Rapeneau family has been producing refined and expressive cuvées for nearly a century.
The label “Vieille France” — meaning Old France — is a tribute to the timeless spirit of French Champagne making. The blend brings together the classic triad of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay, sourced from selected vineyards across the region to ensure balance and depth.
Crafted with meticulous precision, this Brut cuvée spends years resting on its lees, developing fine bubbles, creamy texture, and toasty complexity — the hallmarks of an authentic Champagne experience.
