Produced by Grimaldi, this Barbaresco comes from the historic hills of Piedmont’s Langhe region, one of Italy’s most prestigious wine territories. Barbaresco is widely considered one of the greatest expressions of the Nebbiolo grape, known for its elegance, complexity, and remarkable aging potential.
The Manzolo vineyard sits within the Barbaresco appellation, where limestone-rich soils and the region’s distinctive microclimate create ideal conditions for Nebbiolo to develop aromatic intensity and refined structure. Compared to neighboring Barolo, Barbaresco wines often show a slightly more approachable and elegant profile while still maintaining depth and longevity.
