From I Veroni, a boutique estate in the prestigious hills of Chianti Rufina, “Quona” Riserva represents a deeper, more structured expression of Sangiovese. Rufina is one of Chianti’s most respected subzones, known for its cooler climate and higher elevation—conditions that produce wines with finesse, acidity, and aging potential.
The “Riserva” designation reflects stricter selection and longer aging, allowing the wine to develop greater complexity and structure. Carefully selected grapes from hillside vineyards are vinified with precision, followed by maturation in oak to enhance depth while preserving the purity of Sangiovese.
