Based in Stellenbosch, the estate is celebrated not only for Chenin Blanc but also for distinctive Rhône-inspired red blends.

Renegade is a Mediterranean-style blend that reflects Ken Forrester's passion for Rhône Valley varieties. Built around Shiraz and complemented by Grenache, Mourvèdre, and other Mediterranean grapes depending on the vintage, the wine showcases richness, spice, and balance while expressing the warm climate of Stellenbosch.

The vineyards benefit from abundant sunshine tempered by cooling ocean breezes, allowing the grapes to achieve full ripeness while retaining freshness and structure. Fermentation and maturation in French oak barrels add complexity without overpowering the vibrant fruit character.

The result is a generous yet refined red blend, combining ripe dark fruit, savory spice, and polished tannins in a style that is both approachable and food-friendly.
