Lafalise Froissart Cuvée Rosé Extra-Brut is a highly limited single-parcel Champagne produced from the Les Rochelles vineyard in Verzenay Grand Cru, one of the Montagne de Reims' most celebrated Pinot Noir terroirs. Crafted by sixth-generation winemaker Paul Froissart, the wine reflects the estate's philosophy of organic viticulture, parcel-by-parcel vinification, and minimal intervention.
The cuvée is made predominantly from Pinot Noir, with approximately 6% still red Pinot Noir from Verzenay added to create its delicate rosé colour and enhance aromatic complexity. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels using only the finest first-press juice, followed by extended ageing on the lees before disgorgement. An Extra Brut dosage of 5 g/L preserves the wine's purity, freshness, and mineral expression.
Produced in extremely small quantities—around 800 bottles annually—this is a gastronomic rosé Champagne that emphasizes elegance, precision, and the unmistakable identity of Verzenay Pinot Noir rather than overt fruit richness.
