Maison Verget Pouilly-Fuisse "Terroirs de V"

This wine has been labelled as "Terroirs de V" due to an ongoing change in the ranking system of vineyards in Pouilly Fuissé, but is from the same parcels of Vergisson as are usually in the Verget wine. The nose is packed with ripe stone fruits with peaches and pears most in evidence. The palate is very juicy, with a plump, round mouthfeel and a little creaminess from malolactic fermentation and perhaps a hint of oak. There is a lovely balance between ripe peach and zesty lemon on the finish.
