“Erta e China” translates to “uphill and downhill” — a nod to the hilly vineyards that shape the wine’s character and to the winemaking journey itself. From the renowned Renzo Masi estate in Rufina, this wine captures the essence of a land where old and new converge.
Crafted from equal parts Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, the grapes are harvested separately to optimize ripeness and varietal expression. Fermented in stainless steel and aged partially in seasoned oak barrels, the blend is fine-tuned to highlight both structure and finesse.
