Roberto Voerzio Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG

Roberto Voerzio is one of Piedmont’s most respected producers, best known for meticulous vineyard work, extremely low yields, and wines of precision, intensity, and purity. While the estate is strongly associated with Barolo, its Barbera shows the same serious, terroir-focused philosophy.

Barbera d’Asti Superiore DOCG comes from the historic Asti area in Piedmont, where Barbera develops vivid fruit, natural freshness, and excellent structure. The “Superiore” designation indicates a more serious expression, usually with additional aging and greater depth than standard Barbera d’Asti.

The wine highlights Barbera’s signature personality: generous red and dark fruit, naturally lively acidity, and soft tannins. Careful aging adds polish and complexity without masking the grape’s vibrant fruit character.
