Giancarlo Pacenti’s unwavering dedication to purity and precision shines through even in the 2018 vintage, a year that demanded exceptional skill due to cooler temperatures and sporadic rains. Through meticulous vineyard management and strict fruit selection, Pacenti crafted a wine of structure, finesse, and layered complexity.

"The Brunello di Montalcino Vecchie Vigne 2018 comes, as the name suggests, from old vines and is spicy and very tasty. The bouquet contains many exotic elements that you will not find in any of its colleagues. These include caraway, clove and cardamom. These spicy notes frame a core of black fruits. This is a medium to full-bodied Brunello with great inner strength, underlined by the high alcohol content of 15%."
