Testuz is one of Switzerland's most historic wineries, with a winemaking heritage dating back to 1538. Located in the UNESCO World Heritage vineyards of Lavaux, the estate is renowned for producing elegant wines that showcase the unique terroir overlooking Lake Geneva.
Coup de L'Étrier Lavaux Blanc is crafted predominantly from Chasselas, Switzerland's signature white grape. The vineyards are planted on the steep terraced slopes of Lavaux AOC, where limestone soils, abundant sunshine, and the moderating influence of Lake Geneva create one of Europe's most distinctive wine-growing environments.
The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed before cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks, preserving the grape's delicate aromatics, freshness, and mineral purity. Rather than relying on oak, the wine highlights the subtle elegance and terroir-driven character that have made Lavaux one of Switzerland's most celebrated white wine regions.
The result is a refined, dry white wine with delicate fruit, lively acidity, and remarkable minerality, making it a perfect companion for seafood, Alpine cuisine, and cheese.
