The 2022 Zinfandel Juvenile is a remarkably expressive and over-performing iteration of this wine, composed of young vines from nearly three dozen sites across California. The nose combines sweet red fruits, roasted plums and leather with autumnal, spice-driven accents. The palate is medium-bodied with detailed layers of easygoing, succulent fruits. The finish is welcomely dustier and more structured than the nose and palate would suggest and concludes with a bright spine of quenching acidity.

Juvenile Zinfandel is designed as the most approachable expression of the Turley portfolio. Rather than originating from a single vineyard, it is a carefully crafted blend sourced primarily from the estate's younger vines alongside fruit from several renowned old-vine vineyards across California. The wine captures the vibrant personality of Zinfandel while remaining fresh, balanced, and immediately enjoyable.
Fermented with native yeasts and aged primarily in neutral French oak barrels, Juvenile emphasizes purity of fruit over oak influence. The result is a lively, expressive wine that showcases ripe berry fruit, signature peppery spice, and bright natural acidity.
