Wither Hills is one of Marlborough's pioneering wineries, established in 1994 and renowned for crafting wines that capture the distinctive character of New Zealand's most celebrated wine region. Named after the nearby Wither Hills mountain range, the winery is dedicated to sustainable viticulture and expressive, terroir-driven winemaking.
Kapuka Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from carefully selected vineyards across Marlborough, where cool maritime conditions, abundant sunshine, and free-draining alluvial soils create ideal conditions for Sauvignon Blanc. The long growing season allows the grapes to develop intense tropical fruit aromas while retaining the bright natural acidity that has made Marlborough famous worldwide.
The grapes are harvested during the cool hours of the day and fermented in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures to preserve their vibrant fruit character and aromatic freshness. No oak is used, allowing the purity of the fruit and mineral expression to take center stage.
The result is a crisp, aromatic Sauvignon Blanc bursting with tropical fruit, citrus, and herbaceous freshness, making it an outstanding expression of Marlborough.
