Established in 1838, Yering Station stands among the pioneers of the Yarra Valley. The Reserve Shiraz Viognier represents a selection of superior vineyard parcels and top barrels, showcasing the estate’s elevated craftsmanship.
Inspired by the traditional Rhône co-fermentation method, a small percentage of Viognier is fermented together with Shiraz to enhance aromatics, texture, and complexity. In the cool Yarra Valley climate, Shiraz develops vibrant fruit and natural acidity rather than overt heaviness. The addition of Viognier brings lifted floral notes and silkiness, while careful oak maturation adds depth and structure.
The result is a wine that balances power with elegance—structured in youth yet beautifully poised.
