Domäne Roland Chan is a boutique winery in Austria's renowned Wachau region, dedicated to crafting terroir-driven wines that express the individuality of the Danube Valley's historic vineyard sites. Riesling Smaragd Ried Höll comes from the prestigious Ried Höll single vineyard, one of Wachau's finest sites. The steep terraced vineyards feature ancient primary rock soils that naturally limit vine vigor, producing grapes of remarkable concentration and mineral intensity. The warm, sunny days and cool nights created by the Danube River allow the fruit to ripen slowly while preserving vibrant acidity.

Bearing the Smaragd classification—the highest quality level of the Wachau Vinea classification—the wine is produced from fully ripe grapes with outstanding concentration and aging potential. Fermentation and maturation take place primarily in stainless steel, allowing the vineyard's fruit purity and mineral character to take center stage.
