เนื้อหาสินค้า

Frerejean Frères Cuvée des Hussards Premier Cru is one of the prestige cuvées of Maison Frerejean Frères, created as a vintage Champagne with a strong emphasis on extended ageing, low production, and gastronomic complexity.

The current 2013 expression is made from approximately 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir sourced from vineyards in Vertus, a Premier Cru village in Champagne. Chardonnay provides its citrus freshness, mineral precision, and ageing potential, while Pinot Noir contributes structure, breadth, and subtle fruit richness.

The 2013 growing season began with a cold, wet winter before a warm, dry summer allowed the fruit to reach full maturity. The Champagne was then aged for more than ten years, developing pronounced pastry, roasted-nut, and dried-fruit complexity while preserving its naturally lively acidity.

The name Cuvée des Hussards refers to Napoleon’s light cavalry, traditionally associated with the practice of opening Champagne bottles by sabrage. The cuvée is designed as a structured, cellar-worthy Champagne rather than a simple aperitif.
