"The Tenuta di Biserno 2022 Il Pino di Biserno offers a ripe fruit profile with blackberry jam and sweet cherry pie. These warm vintage tones are followed by an abundant use of oak, adding baking spices and toasted nutmeg. There's a hint of campfire ash or something blackened or toasted at the core of this full-bodied Tuscan blend. I detect a hint of dryness in the otherwise velvety tannins."

The typical notes of black olives, tobacco, paprika and black fruits are complemented by a cedar-like flavour. Medium to full-bodied with pronounced, fine-grained tannins and fruit. Long, restrained and dense. Needs at least another year to open up and mellow.
