VIK Stonevik
STONEVIK is a natural wine created in nature by nature. A blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Carménère from our vineyard, where the best holistic, organic, and biodynamic practices were used, was fermented in toasted oak barrels using the Barroir method (using fallen oak trees from the property) for a period equivalent to one lunar cycle. The wine is then aged in amphorae handmade by artisans, using the same clay from VIK's terroir. A total of 7 amphorae, 3 honoring the universe and 4 honoring the Earth, are aligned according to astronomical principles in a mandala, simulating an electromagnetic field. The amphorae are semi-buried on the highest peak in VIK Park, at over 1,000 meters above sea level, surrounded by ancient oak trees, in an area we call "La Roblería." This is where STONEVIK lies, protected by the wisdom of the forest, and where, at each summer solstice, nature gives us this exceptional wine.

THE PERFECT TERROIR
VIK vineyard was born amidst the foothills of the Andes mountains, within the Millahue Valley, named "Lugar de Oro" or "Golden Place" by the native Mapuche people: 4,300 hectares of astonishing Chilean wilderness where they planted over 327 hectares of vines.
VIK’s terroir offers a majestic and natural landscape composed of 12 valleys, each one with its own micro-climate, distinct exposures, all within a wind-tunnel cooled by Pacific coastal breezes and winds from high up in the Andes mountains that provide VIK with enormous complexity and exceptional variety.
