No. 20 : Chateau Latour 1998
The wines are dense, structured and tannic. The fruit recalls the 1988, but riper, and the constitution of the 1986, but less austere. Long on the palate, these wines develop strong aromas of liquorice and black cherry. Very classic, the Grand Vin is a typical expression of the power of the terroir of Latour's "Enclose”.
"Red-ruby. Deep aromas of cassis, licorice and lead pencil. Deeper than Les Forts but currently rather mute in the middle. Strongly minerally. Offers classic Latour structure and spine. Finishes with sneaky, subtle persistence. Score 91+.”
No. 19 : Opus One
Opus One,was founded as a joint venture between Robert Mondavi and the late Baron Philippe de Rothschild of Mouton-Rothschild. The first vintage was 1979, and along with Dominus this is considered as a Napa Valley "first growth". The fruit comes from the tightlyplanted vineyards that surround the winery, and is a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot. The wine has a very Bordelais "elevage" with 18 months in new French oak.
No. 18 : Insignia
90+ points! 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Verdot and 4% Malbec, Insignia has a beautiful deep garnet hue with incredible depth and concentration. Aromas of freshly crushed blueberries and blackberries intertwined with baking spices, cigar box and attractive floral notes are followed by seamless tannins, texture and finish. This wine is focused and fresh, with a youthful showiness.
No. 17 : Chateau Pichon-Longueville-Baron, Pauillac
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. "A sleeper of the vintage, the 2008 Pichon Longueville Baron is one of the densest, most concentrated wines of Pauillac in 2008. An inky/purple color is followed by aromas and flavors of creme de cassis, blackberries, charcoal, coffee and licorice. One of Christian Moueix’s remarkable project with over 90+ points, with 97 from Robert Parker. The 2009 Dominus is composed of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. Meant for aging, this reveals tight, dark berry fruit, hints of incense and minerals now. Give it some air if you open it soon, or find a cozy place in your cellar to let it rest for the next five years or more.

Tignanello, was produced from Marchesi Antinori Srl, the biggest wine company in Italy. Tignanello was the first Sangiovese to be aged in barriques, the first red wine to be blended with non-traditional varieties and one of the first Chianti reds not to use white grapes. The wine got the 92 and 93 points from Wine Spector and Wine Advocate, so you can ensure that this is the one of wine from Italy that you can’t miss.
The wine is potent and complex on the nose with spicy notes which mingle with aromas of red fruit, smoke, and balsamic sensations; cherries, plums, liquorice, and rosemary are additionally felt. The flavors are mouth- filling and elegant with much volume and an excellent balance in the texture, and the oak is perfectly fused in the spicy and fruity finish and aftertaste.

Rupert & Rothschild Baron Edmond, scored 94 point by Wine-Spectator. It fermented in wooden vats and stainless steel tanks. 5% of the juice was barrel fermented to preserve the fruit flavours of the berries. 16 to 20 days skin contact resulted in excellent colour, concentration, aroma and flavour compounds. Matured for 22 months in 225 litre new French oak barrels. Focused and elegant with deliciously pure black cherry, strawberry and dark chocolate notes and lingering roasted coffee bean flavours.
