Caro Cabernet Sauvignon Malbec

Bodegas Caro is a joint venture between two legendary wine families: Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) of Bordeaux and Catena Zapata of Argentina. Established in 1999, the partnership was created to combine Bordeaux's expertise in Cabernet Sauvignon with Argentina's exceptional high-altitude Malbec, producing wines that unite the strengths of both winemaking traditions.

Bodegas Caro Cabernet Sauvignon Malbec is the estate's flagship wine. Sourced from selected vineyards in Mendoza, the blend typically gives Cabernet Sauvignon the leading role, providing structure, freshness, and longevity, while Malbec contributes rich fruit, floral aromatics, and supple texture.

The grapes are harvested by hand, fermented separately by variety and vineyard parcel, before the final blend is matured in French oak barrels. The result is a sophisticated wine that balances the precision and structure of Bordeaux with the generosity and vibrant fruit of the Andes.
