Adrianna Vineyard River Malbec hails from the legendary Adrianna Vineyard, planted by the Catena family at 1,450 meters above sea level in the stony, high-altitude soils of Gualtallary, Tupungato (Mendoza). Known as “The Grand Cru of South America,” this site represents the pinnacle of Argentine viticulture — where thin air, intense sunlight, and rocky limestone soils shape wines of striking minerality and depth.
The name “River” refers to an ancient riverbed that runs through the vineyard, leaving behind gravel and chalk that force the roots to dig deep in search of nutrients. The result is a Malbec that expresses finesse rather than sheer power — a rare combination of mountain purity and Burgundian precision.
Fermented with native yeasts and aged in French oak barrels for 18 months, this wine is an elegant reflection of the Catena family’s century-long pursuit of excellence — a marriage of science, nature, and heritage
