Shumi Salome (Saperavi) is a premium single-varietal wine crafted from 100% Saperavi, Georgia's iconic native red grape. Named "Salome", this wine represents one of the winery's elegant flagship expressions, highlighting the balance between the variety's natural power and refined winemaking.
The vineyards are situated in Kakheti, where warm sunny days, cool Caucasus mountain nights, and mineral-rich soils allow Saperavi to develop exceptional concentration while preserving its naturally high acidity. The wine is matured in oak barrels to enhance complexity, soften the tannins, and add subtle layers of spice without masking the purity of the fruit.
The result is a sophisticated, full-bodied red wine that combines intense dark fruit, floral aromatics, polished structure, and excellent aging potential.
