Familia Zuccardi is one of Argentina's most influential wineries, internationally recognized for redefining modern Malbec through a strong focus on terroir rather than oak. Led by Sebastián Zuccardi, the estate has pioneered the exploration of the diverse soils and microclimates of the Uco Valley, producing wines that faithfully express their place of origin.
Zuccardi Concreto Malbec was created to demonstrate that great Malbec does not require oak to achieve complexity. The name "Concreto" refers to the concrete vats used during both fermentation and maturation. By eliminating the influence of new oak, the wine highlights the purity of fruit, texture, and the limestone-driven character of the vineyard.
The grapes come from selected vineyards in Paraje Altamira, one of Mendoza's most celebrated terroirs, located at approximately 1,100 metres above sea level. The alluvial soils, rich in gravel and limestone, combined with warm sunny days and cool Andean nights, produce Malbec with exceptional freshness, fine tannins, and distinctive mineral tension.
The result is a contemporary expression of Argentine Malbec—vibrant, elegant, and transparent to its origin.
