Familia Zuccardi is one of Argentina's most celebrated wineries, internationally recognized for its terroir-focused philosophy. Under the leadership of Sebastián Zuccardi, the estate has shifted attention from varietal expression to showcasing the distinctive personalities of the Uco Valley's individual vineyard sites.
Zuccardi Polígonos Tupungato Chardonnay is part of the Polígonos del Valle de Uco collection, a range dedicated to expressing the identity of individual villages within the Uco Valley. This Chardonnay originates from carefully selected vineyards in Tupungato, where elevations of 1,100–1,400 metres above sea level and the influence of the Andes create ideal conditions for cool-climate viticulture.
The vineyards are planted on alluvial soils containing gravel, sand, and limestone, producing Chardonnay with remarkable freshness, tension, and mineral character. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts. The wine is matured primarily in concrete vessels and large, neutral oak barrels, preserving purity of fruit while adding subtle texture without overt oak influence.
The result is an elegant, terroir-driven Chardonnay that balances vibrant fruit, saline minerality, and exceptional precision.
